As the lead Principal of the firm, Linda is responsible for establishing and maintaining solid client relationships. She leads the pre-construction phase work for the firm, focusing on predesign services, architectural design services, and owner's representative services. She has focused her predesign and master planning work on higher education facilities, such as the University of Minnesota, the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, and others. Architectural design services focus on complex public sector work, such as higher education facilities design, hospital/medical facilities design, and state/county facilities design. Linda leads the owner's representative services for the firm, primarily focused on the pre-construction phases. She leads the firm's services in monitoring the work of the design team and the construction team and providing overall direction on the project on behalf of the owner.
Linda McCracken-Hunt is a licensed architect with over 22 years of experience. She became a partner at Studio Five Architects in 1998 after serving over 13 years employed at the University of Minnesota, serving as University Architect from 1991 to 1998. While at the University, Linda directed the programming, design, and construction of over $400 million in project activity on an annual basis.
Linda was president of AIA Minnesota in 2000, and is serving on the AIA National Board of Directors as the North Central Regional Director for 2005-2008. She serves on the University of Minnesota College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture National Advisory Board, as well as other volunteer activities. In her personal time, she enjoys golfing, scuba diving, and spending time at her cabin.

As a Licensed and NCARB Certified Architect and LEED Accredited Professional, Vicky has 10 years of experience in the design and construction industry, including 6 years with Studio Five Architects. Vicky has 16 years of previous experience in the computer software industry, including three as owner and COO of a software development company.
Vicky has worked on many project types, including institutional, educational, commercial, multi-family housing, casinos and hotels from inception to project completion. She has been commended by her managers for toughness and attention to detail. She loves to jump into an ongoing project bringing new eyes and vision to the project. Vicky has done research and attended workshops on straw bale housing, rammed earth, and other environmental issues – furthering her life-long interest in sustainability.
Since receiving her Masters of Architecture degree from the University of Minnesota, Vicky has been active within the architecture industry on local, state, and national levels, specifically in relation to internship, mentorship, membership and examination issues. Currently she is Treasurer of the American Institute of Architect's Minneapolis chapter.
In her free time, she quilts, reads and hopes to finally clean out the junk room and the storage locker.

Stacee is a Licensed Architect, NCARB Certified and LEED Accredited Professional who brings years of experience in public projects to Studio Five Architects. While attending Iowa State University she worked on a number of award winning projects. Stacee's experience has focused on higher education, recreation, community center and civic projects. She is an accomplished project architect and coveted team member with experience in all phases of design and construction and has successfully led complex projects involving numerous clients, consultants and regulatory agencies.
Stacee is interested in sustainable design and currently serves as Chair of the Coon Rapids Sustainability Commission. Her goal is to help clients, businesses and residents see how easy it is to incorporate sustainable practices into daily living and thus inspire them to reach for the next level.

As a construction administrator, Darrel Laubach brings strong leadership and technical knowledge to the Studio Five Architects team. Currently he is focusing his efforts on the new Department of Human Services building in St. Paul. Prior to joining Studio Five Architects, Darrel worked for Hammel, Green, and Abrahamson, Inc., Wold Architects and Engineers, and owned a general contracting company for twenty years. Preceding self-employment Darrel was employed as a job captain and detail designer for Ellerbe Architects and Engineers, ATS&R Architects and Engineers, and Horty Elving and Associates Architects and Engineers. Darrel has an Associate degree in Architectural Design and Drafting from Southwestern Technical College in Jackson, Minnesota and participated in a four-year apprenticeship program that specialized in on-the-job instruction through the State of Minnesota and Horty Elving and Associates.
In his free time Darrel likes to participate in and watch sports and travel.

Mike joined Studio Five Architects in 2001 specifically to support the firm's efforts in construction documents and construction phase services as well as their expanding emphasis on owner's representation services. His focus has been on the technical aspects of design, quality of construction documents, construction administration services, and the construction phase of owner's representation activities.
Mike is a licensed architect and has been in the architectural field for over 29 years. His role prior to joining Studio Five Architects was the leadership of the construction administration department of a major Minneapolis architect/engineer firm. His experience includes involvement in several significant and award winning projects in many areas, including health care, education, religious, cultural, and corporate work.
In addition to membership in the American Institute of Architects, Mike is a member of the Construction Specifications Institute.

Rob has over 20 years of experience in the field of architecture. His primary focus has been on K-12 and higher education projects for most of his career. Since joining Studio Five Architects in 2005, he has worked on several projects for the University of Minnesota Athletics department, St. Louis Park Housing Authority, Hopkins Redevelopment and Housing Authority, as well at Fairview University Medical Center. With a background in technical architecture, construction administration and CAD management, Rob possesses well rounded experience and a set of enhanced skills to oversee the production of construction documents.
In his free time, Rob enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, and doing home improvement projects.

Wendy began working at Studio Five after graduating from Minneapolis Community and Technical College. It is her speed and solid drafting capabilities that make Wendy an asset to creating construction documents for the firm. She serves as Studio Five's librarian and is a commissioned notary public .
In her free time Wendy enjoys gardening and spending time with her grey hound 'Lou' and her husband.

After graduating from Minneapolis Community and Technical College, Fred began his career at Studio Five Architects. He assists team members during the construction phase by tracking submittals, coordinating changes within the construction team, and facilitating decisions during a construction phase. Fred has excellent drafting skills, in creating design and construction documents within the firm.
Some of Fred's hobbies include canoeing and camping in the Boundary Waters. He also enjoys spending time with friends and family in the Twin Cities and Northern Minnesota.

Ted has over 17 years of experience leading conceptual designs through final construction on numerous successful projects. He is actively engaged in all phases of the design process, and he consistently works to develop the client's vision into a coherent built reality. He is currently working on projects for the University of Minnesota and the Department of Natural Resources. His work has been recognized throughout his career; for example, The RiverCentre Connection in downtown Saint Paul won an AIA Heritage Preservation Award.
Ted is passionate about community involvement and architecture education. He has taught architecture to high school students at the Minnesota Institute for Talented Youth for over 10 years, and currently volunteers at the University of Minnesota as a design critic. Ted has contributed his time and efforts to the Design Industries Foundation for AIDS and has served on the board of AIA Minneapolis.
Out of the office, Ted keeps busy with his family and friends, cycling, artwork, and his too numerous construction projects around the house. Ted is also an artist and shows his work at local coffee shops and the MN State Fair.
